One box. Entirely their world.

You provide the box. They handle the planning permission.

You need: One open cardboard box, paper and crayons

Setup: 2 minutes · 5–10 minute starter

  1. 1Choose what kind of place the open box will become.
  2. 2Draw or make one important part.
  3. 3Offer an optional tiny tour—or keep the world private.

Your role: Remove staples and cut any openings. Then let the child decide what the place becomes.

Choose an age for the right adaptation

Safety: Use an open box only. No climbing, enclosed lid, staples or small loose parts.
